With golden hour casting its glow over the city, it was finally time to celebrate our most anticipated launch of the year. You may have already caught a glimpse of how the Brand Marketing team’s day began, but now, consider this your official invitation to step into the rest of the evening.
With the Complexion Perfecting Concealer being our biggest launch of the year, we knew we had to give it the celebration it deserved. The event was held at Nine Orchard, where we took over The Greenhouse—the rooftop space often described as one of Manhattan’s most coveted outdoor venues. And we can attest: it was truly a treat to spend the evening there.
Before we dive into all the details, allow us to (re)introduce the star of the evening: the Complexion Perfecting Concealer—your spot-on secret to flawless skin. This creamy concealer melts right in for natural-looking coverage that actually breathes. It brightens with Sea Buckthorn and Licorice Root, hydrates with Micro Hyaluronic Acid, and covers just about everything—delivering that effortless less-is-more finish.
We wanted the space to feel not only elegant and inviting, but also interactive and educational. Guests explored a number of curated stations, including the Concealer Confessional, Shoppable Station, Tarot Readings, and personalized Shade Matching experience.
Every corner of the venue was thoughtfully touched with Ogee branding. Custom matchboxes (a must for anyone with a match bowl at home) were a favorite collectible—especially among the Brand Marketing team, who made it their mission to grab as many as they could. Exclusive, city-themed Ogee stickers added a playful twist, featuring illustrated scenes of the skyline and Lady Liberty, concealer in hand.
Step into the Concealer Confessional—where beauty truths meet playful secrets. Guests were invited to share their beauty wisdom (or confessions), from clever hacks to not-so-radiant moments. Sign. Concealed. Delivered. Those who opted to conceal wrote their juiciest beauty confessions on Ogee stationery, sealed them in envelopes, and slipped them into our signature mailbox. Because let’s be honest—we’ve all had a moment (or two) we’d rather keep under wraps.
Our favorite “concealed” secret? Someone once used Sharpie as eyeliner. And one of the most surprising “revealed” tips? Mix setting spray directly with concealer before applying for an ultra-smooth finish.
Of course, no event is complete without a swag bag. And this one was packed with what we’re calling our Eye-Conic Essentials. In addition to the Complexion Perfecting Concealer, guests received beautifully curated gifts from brand partners—Kate McLeod’s Daily and Evening moisturizing stones, Omnilux’s Eye Brightener patches, Patchology’s Rose Eye Gels, and Juna’s Nightcap sleep gummies.
By the end of the evening, the rooftop was aglow with warm conversation and radiant faces. Guests left with tote bags full of clean beauty treasures—and a newfound love for their flawless, breathable glow.
